When lunchtime rolls around, the loaded fries and American BBQ platter tend to draw in those looking for a satisfying midday bite without fuss.
The atmosphere here is relaxed and unpretentious, making it a good fit for solo diners, groups, and families alike. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in with a thoughtfully brewed coffee or explore their selection of teas while watching the neighborhood move at its own pace. Outdoor seating and accessibility features help ensure a comfortable visit for many different needs.
People seem to appreciate the fresh ingredients and straightforward approach to both food and service, although some moments, like serving plates a little cooler than expected, hint at the casual nature rather than polished formality. "Great people, food delicious, well priced and generous menu items."
"Love their coffee ☕️ and in particular that they give me a bucket 🪣 of coffee!!"
"Smashed avo served gluten free and vegan was delicious too!"
5 Turned off the highway for a light lunch, and after walking the Main Street were delighted here…..good coffees, and burger with chips special and ham cheese and tomato toastie …..and chilled water were fully as what one would expect in a cafe…all reasonably priced and fresh….friendly staff and enjoyed what is clearly a RELAXING watering hole for locals…and for watching the locals….worth turning off the highway for: so much more pleasant than highway stops. Lovely range of no knead bread mixes and incredibly extensive range of Beechworth cordials line the sides! Sit inside or out. An Australian country town cafe as it should be.
4 An impromptu breakfast stop after a camping trip. Food, staff, and ambience was on point! Meals were obviously made from fresh ingredients, The only disappointment was, the plates that the meals were served on were cold, and unfortunately, they made an amazing meal very cold halfway through enjoying it. Warm your plates and you're a full 5 star Cafe :)
4 Big plus for a coffe, big and tasty. Service also very nice. Food hmm..... wasn't what I'm used to it. Dutch sose was more like mayonese and no spinach in the Benedict eggs, but maybe it's something wrong with me.
Many guests enjoy the Loaded Fries, American BBQ Platter, and sweet treats like Hot Jam Donuts and Lime Drizzle Cake.
It's great for both—a casual, cosy place where you can grab a quick coffee or settle in for a relaxed breakfast or lunch.
